One of the most exciting contests in Joomla history came to a close this past week. The Joomla upgrade contest hosted by Savvy Panda, boasted of offering one lucky Joomla user the chance of a lifetime, to win a free Joomla 2.5 Upgrade, mobile site, SEO and more. After months of anticipation, the Joomla 2.5 Contest winner can be finally announced here.
With over 300 entries pouring in over a one month period, the Joomla 2.5 Upgrade contest was a complete success. As nice as it would be to help out all the people who entered, in the end, there can only be one winner.

The Nevada Art Council's mission is, "to enrich the cultural life of the sate through leadership that preserves, supports, strengthens and makes accessible excellence in the arts for all Nevadans." The organization works hard to stimulate artistic, cultural and economic activity within Nevada, enrich the communities, promote learning in the arts and encourage both public and private support of the arts.
Originally launched a number of years ago, the current Joomla website for the NAC is extremely outdated causing hours of time each month simply to fixing errors and formatting. The NAC Joomla website is in such need of an update that they literally cannot even install extensions.
